Objectives

The overall aim of the project is to raise awareness about barriers faced by LGBTIQ people and thus promote diversity and inclusion.

Implementation goals of the project:

Firstly, to develop workshop formats on general difficult issues for LGBTIQ-persons; and also, on specific issues that professionals working with different people are facing; additionally with information and recommendations on planning, setting, scope and potential challenges.

Secondly, to develop “spotlight exercises” to raise awareness of challenges for queer people that can be easily implemented in the classroom, e. g. on human rights.

The exercises are developed in cooperation with people from the LGBTIQ community to ensure practical relevance. A steering committee supports the process with its expertise.
